Brief news:

The open world role-playing game developed by FromSoftware is so massive that it will consume the time of even the most casual of players for many days.

How Long To Beat estimates that the average time spent playing through Elden Ring’s main story without deviating from it is 51 hours. If you really want to get out there and discover everything the world has to offer, you’ll need to double that amount of time.

Of course, die-hard Elden Ring fans would look at a 100-hour playtime and laugh. Players are putting in hundreds of hours because there is a wide variety of builds and weapons to experiment with over the course of multiple playthroughs, not to mention co-op and PVP.

JayzRebellion15, a player, has devoted so much time to Elden Ring that they have killed the in-game clock.

After a certain amount of time has passed, the game will no longer keep track of your progress. To be honest, I don’t FromSoftware ever anticipated to devote 1,000 hours into one character.

As you can see , our hero’s level 648 character – called Richter Belmont in a nice allusion to Castlevania – now has a maxed out playtime of 999:59:59.

How many runs of the game must they have put in to accomplish this monstrous feat? It gives me the willies to even consider.

I can only suppose that our hero sweeps over The Lands Between slaying everything that enters his way merely by gazing at it. Malenia is probably hiding in dread behind the Haglitree, simply hoping she doesn’t receive another visit from Belmont.
