The US has allocated $2.7 billion (£2.3 billion) for Ukraine and allies. This assistance includes $675 million in anti-Russian weapons for Ukraine.
Lloyd Austin made the comment during a conference of hundreds of ministers at the US air base in Ramstein, Germany.
The assistance package includes a variety of different things, including anti-tank systems, armored ambulances, weapons, ammo, and Humvees.
The United States has already made a commitment to provide Ukraine with military aid totaling more than thirteen billion dollars.
The Biden administration will give $2 billion over a decade to protect Ukraine and its 18 neighbors against Russian invasion. NATO and non-NATO countries are included.
The administration has committed to provide legislators with regular updates about the aid package.
Anthony Blinken, the U.S. Secretary of State, arrived in Kyiv as his colleague asked Ukraine’s allies to commit to assisting the country for as long as needed and to be flexible.
Mr. Blinken said the aid’s timing was “crucial” since Ukrainian actions against Russian soldiers “proven successful.”
He also promised that the U.S. and its allies would “continue to exert pressure” until Ukraine was totally independent and sovereign.
