Maryland moviegoers are afraid following a mall shooting.

Police say shots were fired on Boulevard in Largo, Maryland.

On Saturday, a shooting took place in a mall parking lot outside of Washington, DC, plunging moviegoers into a momentary state of dread.

Gunshots were reported outside Boulevard at the Capital Centre in Largo, Maryland, according to Cpl. Unique Jones of Prince George County.

Jones asserts that one person was injured, but that nobody has been brought into jail for their involvement in the incident.

WRC-TV reported that two individuals were hurt at a mall movie theater around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday.

A post that was made on Facebook provided a detailed account of a terrifying occurrence that was seen by a moviegoer.

We made the decision to spend some quality time with our sisters by going to the movies, so we went to the Magic Johnson Theaters.

We run to the vehicle crying “Jesus!” We don’t pause to think. As we make our way to the vehicle, we go straight past the awful scene where she was slain.

According to WJLA-TV, an AMC cinema in Alexandria, Virginia, which is located around 20 miles away, had to be evacuated earlier in the day because of a threat.

On Saturday, movie theaters all around the country were giving three dollar movie tickets in an effort to attract customers.
