With the Summer Game Fest in full swing, rumors of a Nintendo Direct in June are gaining steam.
We’re left scrambling for any scraps of information we can discover because the Big N hasn’t said anything about an impending event.
Thankfully, the current speculation comes from a reliable source, indicating that a Nintendo Direct will take place on June 29th, little over two weeks away!
Alanah Pearce, a former games journalist for IGN and Rooster Teeth who is now a writer for Sony Santa Monica, revealed the date towards the end of a live-stream in which she discussed the latest Xbox/Bethesda Games Showcase.
Pearce’s words “fit” what VGC has been told, according to VGC.
So there you have it! We’ll take this with a grain of salt, but it’s the best lead we have right now for a possible Nintendo Direct.
Alanah has proven to be trustworthy in the past, so we’ll just have to wait and see what occurs. But, as usual, stay tuned to Nintendo Life for the official announcement of a new Direct as soon as it happens!
