Two shootings occurred overnight in Chicago: one in the Loop and one in West Woodlawn, where a man was killed after being shot in the neck and arm. Eleven injured.
A young man in his twenties was found inside a home located on the 6600 block of South Evans Street at around 11:15 p.m.
On Saturday night, he got into a confrontation with another well-known guy, who apparently then opened fire and fled the scene.
He was shot during the dispute. According to the victim, authorities found the suspect lying on the ground with gunshot wounds to his neck and arm.
The on-site doctor determined he was dead. Police haven’t detained anybody yet, but the inquiry will continue.
Two adult men were seen walking around the Loop in the 200 block of South Wabash Street at around 12:05 in the morning.
They had a disagreement with a man and his girlfriend who were both dressed in pink on Saturday night when the dispute took place.
Man reportedly shot both guys before fleeing with lady. Both are in serious condition, and police are investigating.
